The LGNDSNVRDIE Authentic Shorts reinterpret the classic basketball silhouette through a lens of craftsmanship and considered design. Constructed with handwoven indigenous fabric from the Philippines (Binakol) and breathable Micro Cool Mesh, each pair reflects a balance of heritage textile tradition and modern performance. Artisanal detailing lends quiet distinction, while two deep 6-inch pockets and a 55-inch braided cotton drawstring provide thoughtful functionality. The result is a refined essential — where cultural craftsmanship meets contemporary fit.
The patterns of Binakol cloth are deliberately dizzying — an ancient geometric pattern designed to unsettle the eye. Traditionally, its swirling forms echo a woman’s navel, the source of life and light; in other interpretations, they evoke a protective whirlwind, a guardian force believed to ward off spirits that drift above and prey on sleeping souls.
